Happy Labor Day!

Hunter and Jordan were in the Labor Day Parade this year. They had a great time representing their boy scout pack. Their favorite part was throwing candy at the crowd.

I hope everyone enjoyed Labor Day and did not have to labor too hard.

School Starts

Hunter and Jordan

Well most people take a picture of their kids on the first day of school. Not me, not this year. I was so busy getting them out of the door, I forgot. So this year, I took an unique picture. This is Hunter and Jordan on the second day of school. I bet less than 1% of moms take a picture on the second day of school. :) Hunter is in 5th grade this year. His last year of elementary school. (Sniff, Sniff) Jordan is in 3rd grade this year.

Father's Day weekend at Pawley's Island

We spent a wonderful Father's Day weekend with the Lee's.

Captain Sean

Sean took us on a fun boat ride through old rice fields and on the intercoastal waterways.

The cousins had a wonderful time playing together. Anna hung in with all the boys like a champ!

20 year High School Reunion

Artifacts from our high school days

These are the name tags for the reunion.
It takes a lot of name tags when you go to a high school the size of a small city.
(over 800 graduates)

We had a photo booth at the reunion. It took great group pictures all night.

This was the memorial table. As a part of the reunion committee, Chris and I were in charge of it. There was a book for each person that died from our class. Unfortunately, we had 12 deaths from our class. After the reunion, the books were sent to the family. Also on the table is our high school class picture.

We almost have the exact same hair color. :)

This was our reunion class picture. There was so many people everyone could not fit into the picture. Chris and I are on the right side of the picture almost in the middle. Look for my green dress and Chris is beside me. Click on the picture to enlarge it.

This was Chris' prom picture.

High School Reunion- the pre parties

The night before the reunion we went to a Family Event.

There were games for the kids, a snowcone machine, and lots of bubbles.

It was neat seeing everyone's kids. Some of the alumnus we had know since Elementary School and there kids looked just like they did their age.

It was great talking with everyone. Some people looked the same and others you almost could not recognize.

After the family fun event, there was an adult gathering at Dockside.

Baseball Season Ends for Hunter

Hunter and his coaches

Hunter's team celebrated the end of the baseball season by having a pizza party. Each player received his batting average for the season. Hunter was 3rd highest for his team. We are very proud of him.

Hunter and his huge trophy

Hunter got new glasses also. I think they look great! Unfortunately, he is near sighted like both his parents.

The Big Mo

We went to our first drive in movie last night. It was a double feature of Up and Star Trek. The drive in opened at 7pm. The earlier you arrived the better your parking spot. We were there at 7pm had an great spot. The movie started at dusk around 8:45.

We are ready for the movie

We had a blast at the drive-in. Both the movies were great. But it made for a long night. Star Trek was over a little after 1 am. The boys slept the whole way home and until 10:30 this morning.
