Hunter Turns 11

For Hunter's 11th birthday, he wanted to go camping and for the whole family to bike together. Strangely, I had problem finding a state park with a lot of biking trails and a campground. For example, Drehel Island had a campground but no biking trails and Charles Towne Landing has tons a biking trails but no campground.

We found an awesome state park with over 12 miles of biking trails and a campground... Croft State Park in Spartanburg.

The park contained two lake. Our campsite over looked Lake Craig which is a 150 acre lake. It was surround by beautiful rolling hills.

The biking trails were pretty extreme. They were very muddy because of all the rain. After riding, we were all covered in red mud. It is very hard to ride in tires covered in slippery red mud.

Here a picture to prove that I rode my bike also.
Look at all the mud!

One of the bike trail followed a beautiful stream. Chris and Hunter rode on one biking trail that had 15 foot drop at 45 degree angle. He didn't have the camera (it probably would have been broken) so no picture but for the looks of his pants I think he slid down it.

We all had a great time camping. It was nice being in Spartanburg again. We ate at two of our favorite restaurants... The Flounder and Wade's. After eating at Wade's, Jordan looked at me and said "Man, it was good!"

Happy Birthday, Hunter!!!!!
