Boat Parade

Our neighbors invited us to go to the annual boat parade on Lake Murray. Anyone can enter the parade. You just decorate your boat and register. The parade was a sight to see. There were about 35 boats in the parade. The ones pictured below were our favorites.

Our neighbor's granddaughters and daughter-in-law were visiting. At the beginning of the visit, their granddaughters (who are 4 and 6) were playing on our play set. Jordan was going outside to play with them. They saw Jordan and ran home. When they saw their parents they said they saw something. Their parents thought it was a snake. But they said they saw a boy! Jordan and I went over to their house and they decided the boy wasn't so bad. By the end of their stay, they would ring the doorbell and ask for Jordan to play with them. Jordan said they would have really been scared if they had seen Hunter instead of him. Talk about brotherly love.
