Back Stage Pass Camp

Hunter went to a week long camp this summer at Town Theatre.  It was a back stage pass camp.  He and 5 other kids worked with Danny, the stage manager, at Town to create the props and different scenes for their summer performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Here we are sitting in Chitty
The car would raise and lower and drive around.
She was one of the main stars of the show.

Here is a back drop for the cirrus scene.
Hunter made this wooden back drop.
He cut the wood, assembled it and painted it.

He also helped make this prop.
You can tell how tall it is my looking at Chris beside it.
Hunter rotated all the designs in the tower.
Danny said they will use it for another plays.

The costume room was huge.
I would love to go and try out all the fun clothes, hats, wigs and shoes.

Hunter loved the trap door.
Here he is going up.
He was in charge of working the trap door during the play.

Town Theatre has walls honoring pass play.
This is the area for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Everyone who helped on the play signs the wall.
Hunter's name is right under the car.
