Jordan's Graduation!

The 5th Grade Graduates

Jordan graduated from Chapin Elementary School today.  There were about 150 students in his graduation class.  He received several awards.  The most special award he received was the Citizen Award.  Each homeroom teacher chose one student who was prepared, helpful, kid to others, and responsible all year.  In other words a good citizen.  Jordan was chosen from his homeroom.  I am so proud of him.  What an honor!

Jordan and the quilt

This is the 5th grade quilt.  Every student made an quilt square about a favorite memory from a field trip they took in 5th grade.  Jordan's favorite memory was watching TV on the bus trip on the way to the Barrier Islands outside of Charleston.  Leave it to Jordan.

Jordan and Mrs. Hughes

Mrs Hughes was both Hunter and Jordan's 5th grade teacher.  She is AWESOME!!  We are so lucky to have her as a teacher twice.

Jordan and his grandparents

After graduation, we had a small party at our house.  Jordan and Hunter both invited a friend and they went tubing on the lake.  I love the way Jordan's cake turned out.

Watch out Middle School, here Jordan comes.
