There was a 50's themed festival at the school Friday night. There were lots of rides and games, a silent auction, costume contest, classic car contest and food. There was even a dunking booth. They made an announcement when the principal was in the dunking booth. You should have seen the kids run to get a chance to dunk the principal. All the teachers were dressed in 50s styled clothes. Jordan's teacher was wearing her husband's old varsity jacket and her hair in a pony tail. She looked so young.
In the picture above, Hunter is wearing the blue. Cam, one of Hunter's good friends from school, is wearing red. The vest is attached with a bungee cord to the back on the inflatable thing. The object was to run as fast and as far as you can before the cord pulls you back. There were velcro things that each person put on the top of the divider to see who went the furthest. This was very fun to watch. Hunter said it was the best thing he did. Eating the cotton candy was a close second. Jordan's favorites were this huge inflatable slide and pirate ship ride.
