A Hike, A Waterfall, and Good Friends

Jake, Chris' childhood friend, and his family were nice enough to let us stay at their house after we toured Clemson. Jake and Chris lived in the same neighborhood growing up, were roommates at Clemson for one semester (until Jake decided to transfer to an inferior school) and was a groomsmen in our wedding. It was great seeing them again.

Sunday morning we went to Station Cove Falls.

We were a few letterboxes planted on the trail. So we introduced them to letterboxing. There are so many letterboxes near their house.

At the end of the trail was Station Cove Falls, a beautiful 60 foot waterfall.

Jake and Trish live at Keowee Lake. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in SC. The water is clear and there are beautiful mountains in the background.
