Hunter's Birthday Camping Trip

Hunter wanted to go camping for his birthday and ride bikes. We went to Lake Norman State Park were their are lots of biking trails.

We arrived late Friday night and had to beg the rangers to let us in the park. But they finally gave in. Thom and Jane were nice enough to let us borrow their pop up camper. So we set up camp for the night. We make a campfire and made smores.

The next morning we woke up and made breakfast. They we went biking riding. Jordan needed a new bike so he scored a new bike for the trip.

We had fun biking as a family. The boys loved the camp fire. At one point, it turned blue it was so hot. We a put an aluminium can in it and it melted. Now that is hot!

We spent all day Saturday riding our bikes and at the campsite. Sunday we ate breakfast and packed up. We stopped in Mooresville in hopes of visiting some NASCAR garages but they put closed since it was Sunday. We hope to make a trip up there soon.
