Camping at Sesquicentennial State Park

Our den was camping at Sesquicentennial State Park. Hunter is now our den's Den Chief. He is working on getting the boys ready to cross over to boy scouts.

He taught them about fire safety and how to built a fire. He had them pitch a tent as a team without help. He review the Scout Motto, Oath and Law. Then he taught them how to tie several knots.

Jordan was Hunter's most difficult student since he didn't want to learn anything from his brother.

A huge storm just missed us. There was golf ball sized hail in Rock Hill that night. Thank goodness we were not camping in Rock Hill.

We went on a Nature Walk that morning before the park was crowded.
