Craig invited us to his troops flag retirement ceremony. It was on 9-11 so we thought it was a very fitting way to spend the afternoon. We had a flag at the scout hut that was badly in need on being retired. So we brought it also.

They cut the flag before they burt it. They taked around each section of the flag.
Then they burt each section separately. It is a very well done ceremony.
