I've had a lot of people ask me about letterboxing recently. I found an article, What a Find!, that explains it pretty well. You can click on the article's title to read it. In the picture above, I'm holding the letterbox and log book, Hunter is holding the stamp from the box, and Jordan is hold a battery. The battery has nothing to do with letterboxing, Jordan is just being silly.
