Easter Celebration at Jordan's class

Today Jordan class had an Easter celebration. I read two stories to his class. His class was excellent while I read to them. They made comments about the stories and asked questions. Afterwards, there was an Easter egg hunt. Another mom and myself hid the eggs on the playground. The children searched until all the eggs were found. It did not take very long. In the picture above, Jordan is holding his Easter basket he made at school full of the eggs he found.

The class had special guests in the their room this week. On Monday, 6 eggs came to their class from a local farm. Each day this week some chicks were hatched. On Wednesday, the class saw a chick come out of his shell using his egg tooth. They loved it. Jordan is holding one of the chicks. It is only two days old.
After the egg hunt and special snack, the children went to different centers around the room. Jordan's favorite center is art. Here is a picture of the Master at work.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!!
